Background
I have lived experience of arthritis and use physioyoga techniques everyday to help live my best life.

Arthritis can develop over our life time. It can be related to underlying health conditions or past injuries. I developed osteoarthritis after experiencing a snow skiing injury with a knee joint fracture (cracked bone) in the joint along with ligament and muscle damage. I am also managing neck arthritis. My own experience has helped me explore arthritis to a deeper level. To manage the fluctuating condition, to learn pain management skills and most of all to develop a deeper compassion and understanding of myself and others.

My Yoga Journey
I started yoga in the mid 1980s as a Uni student. I quickly discovered yoga techniques not only helped with aches and pains, flexibility and strength but also stress management, study and sleep.

Meditation and mindfulness opened up a whole new inner world. Yoga was having profound effects on my body, mind, relationships, choices and resilience.

Initially I studied yoga teacher training with the Bihar yoga method and then combined this wonderful and comprehensive basis with other styles of yoga and meditation. Integrating physiotherapy, brain and mind science, psychology, group work skills, meditation and traditional yoga has become my life's work.

Throughout raising a family and working I've used yoga tools as my anchor. Challenges and life transitions have been transformed through yoga to become precious opportunities for growth. I love to share these uplifting physioyoga tools.

I established Physioyoga & Wellbeing and have had the joy and privilege of helping patients with Physiotherapy and yoga therapy for nearly 30 years.
